Fine Tea Infuser

Our Tea Infuser is a quality, extra-fine stainless steel design, suitable to brewing your loose leaf tea. Fine Infusions has selected an infuser with a mouth larger in diameter for an elevated tea experience.

Allowing your loose tea leaves to open freely and breathe with oxygen flowing through the water, for a balanced brew and enhanced flavour. It’s an important quality of a tea infuser especially if you like to steep your leaves multiple times.

It is portable and versatile for use in teacups, mugs or a heat-proof glass, also suitable for travel, work or home.

Our Tea Infuser comes with a handle and heat resistant silicone lid, with a drip tray. The infuser can be placed on the tray after brewing, to protect your surface or keep your leaves if you intend to re-steep them later. The lid can also be placed over the mouth of the infuser, for heat retention during brewing. It is safe, non-toxic, easy to clean.

To get the best out of your tea, we also recommend that you follow the brewing instructions of the tea leaves you are steeping. Not only is it important to select the correct tea infuser, but the water temperature and the quality of the water should be considered.

A lower water temperature retains more oxygen, required for some, more delicate teas to develop the flavour. Using water that is too hot for a particular tea can scald or damage the leaves, reducing the quality of the brew.

Tap water can sometimes contain too many impurities or chemicals that can interfere with the flavour of the tea. We always suggest using fresh filtered or spring water rather than pre-boiled water.
